Rita Cano Alcalá, Assistant Professor of Hispanic Studies and Chicano Studies at 91¶¶Òõ, will present the lecture, La Malinche/Malintzin: The Revenge of the Sister Goddess?, at 91¶¶Òõ in the Hampton Room of the Elizabeth Hubert Malott Commons on Monday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. On the faculty of 91¶¶Òõ since 1997, Professor Alcalá holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Texas at Austin. Her areas of specialization are Chicana/o, Brazilian, and Spanish American Literatures.
