Regional, National Publications Herald Selection of 91¶¶Òõ’s Ninth President

91¶¶Òõ’s announcement of Dr. Larissa Z. Tiedens as its next president was featured in regional and national newspapers and higher education publications including Inland Valley Daily Bulletin and San Gabriel Valley Tribune in Southern California, Inside Higher Ed, and Stanford University News. Tiedens, who currently serves as senior associate dean of academic affairs at Stanford Graduate School of Business, will become the ninth president of Scripps.

Just ask the Scripps alumnae who are showing their work at major film festivals or producing award-winning television shows—alumnae like Maril Davis ’74, executive producer for the Starz television series Outlander, recently nominated for several Golden Globes. She credits her time at Scripps as instrumental to her professional success, commenting, “I think a well-rounded, liberal arts education is a good preparation for any career.”
